Without being the best athlete you probably get an interest in grenade launchers, technology is for that, it's only so far you can throw a stone with a hand.

Here is a very good summary: "grenade launcher is a weapon that fires a specially designed, large-caliber projectile, often with an explosive, smoke, or gas warhead. Today, the term generally refers to a class of dedicated firearms firing unitary grenade cartridges. The most common type are man-portable, shoulder-fired weapons issued to individuals, although larger crew-served launchers are issued at higher levels of organization by military forces."

Grenade launchers are produced in the form of standalone weapons (either single-shot or repeating) or as attachments mounted to a parent firearm, usually a rifle. Larger crew-served automatic grenade launchers such as the Mk 19 are mounted on tripods or vehicles.

Some armored fighting vehicles also mount fixed arrays of short-range, single-shot grenade launchers as a means of defense.

And the list of what is being produced is also quite impressive. Two things to note: launchers as attachements to rifles and stand alone or man portable dedicated grenade launchers.

And the ranges for the man portable ones are of 400 meters. And it's around the ranges of 1'500 meters for automatic grenade launchers.

Without going into details from ammunition used, just looking at some YouTube clips looks impressive.

Which Ones Do You Know?

    Which Ones Do You Know? I somehow lost the interest to continue with some conclusion of tactics and strategies and arms used and supplied by the greatest armies of this world. I started to think what I know from what I could use if needed. When I ask myself a question "which ones do you know", I am talking about the assault rifles. Today, as probably now for more than a century, soldier who is not equipped with a rifle is not a soldier, unless you use a tank, pilot a plan or use other equipment that is used to do some damage to the enemy. It's a bit surprise to me, what a wide choice of different assault rifles exist. Every bigger and quite many medium size and smaller countries have their own models of assault rifles . Which is your favorite and how well do you master it? For me who has not served in any army, I have quite limited knowledge and using practice of any of the assault rifles.

    People Without drawing any conclusions, just for my own interest and for others to whom it may be interesting. Data based on the World Bank statistics. The population growth is in percentage. Data is provided until the year 2050, but because the percentage change is pretty much similar over the presented years I extended the curve until 2099 for total population graph and show the data as per World Bank until 2050 and then the extended trend until 2099. With decreasing growth population is still growing at 2050, reaches 0% growth in 2076 and starts decreasing from this point at quite low rate that the population line is quite flat.
