The Accountant



Inspired by the section of Military Games I start a new section in the story: "The Accountant". There is a bit of sarcasm in it because having some experience as an accountant I plan to talk here about economics, finance, demography and other issues that are of importance for the countries and the world.

Nothing is more important than a "sustainable growth", the term that we can hear quite often as a long-term objective. The word "sustainable" I find interesting here, without going through the dictionaries and origins, it seems something that exists in modern language as English. It has two components at the same time at least how I understand it being not a native English speaker: a) maintained at certain level, and b) long lasting in time.

For me it summarizes quite well the long-term objective of all politics and economics and development of everything in fact. How to achieve, what are the limits, what are the obstacles, whether this is achievable in current situation, these are the topics that can be interesting to another group of sport coach experts observing the society and its development.

Which Ones Do You Know?

    Which Ones Do You Know? I somehow lost the interest to continue with some conclusion of tactics and strategies and arms used and supplied by the greatest armies of this world. I started to think what I know from what I could use if needed. When I ask myself a question "which ones do you know", I am talking about the assault rifles. Today, as probably now for more than a century, soldier who is not equipped with a rifle is not a soldier, unless you use a tank, pilot a plan or use other equipment that is used to do some damage to the enemy. It's a bit surprise to me, what a wide choice of different assault rifles exist. Every bigger and quite many medium size and smaller countries have their own models of assault rifles . Which is your favorite and how well do you master it? For me who has not served in any army, I have quite limited knowledge and using practice of any of the assault rifles.

    People Without drawing any conclusions, just for my own interest and for others to whom it may be interesting. Data based on the World Bank statistics. The population growth is in percentage. Data is provided until the year 2050, but because the percentage change is pretty much similar over the presented years I extended the curve until 2099 for total population graph and show the data as per World Bank until 2050 and then the extended trend until 2099. With decreasing growth population is still growing at 2050, reaches 0% growth in 2076 and starts decreasing from this point at quite low rate that the population line is quite flat.
