Narrowing Down



I made a very broad introduction, too broad probably. There idea is talk about current problems that we see now and make some conclusions from it, without going into too much theoretical assumptions.

So, I try to narrow down and first let's see what we have learned during the last year. In case of some bigger conflict that is going for a certain time and with some longer-term consequences the whole world is affected to some degree as we have learned. With some affected more, some less most of the world had some effect.

First let's look at the cases, when the country is not involved directly but is still affected by events elsewhere. Very briefly and without going into details what are the lessons to learn.

Maybe we will add some other elements later, but what comes to head now is the supply and at the same time price affected for energy natural resources and foods and the cascading effect it had on all economies and markets. This we can discuss separately in next posts.

Which Ones Do You Know?

    Which Ones Do You Know? I somehow lost the interest to continue with some conclusion of tactics and strategies and arms used and supplied by the greatest armies of this world. I started to think what I know from what I could use if needed. When I ask myself a question "which ones do you know", I am talking about the assault rifles. Today, as probably now for more than a century, soldier who is not equipped with a rifle is not a soldier, unless you use a tank, pilot a plan or use other equipment that is used to do some damage to the enemy. It's a bit surprise to me, what a wide choice of different assault rifles exist. Every bigger and quite many medium size and smaller countries have their own models of assault rifles . Which is your favorite and how well do you master it? For me who has not served in any army, I have quite limited knowledge and using practice of any of the assault rifles.

    People Without drawing any conclusions, just for my own interest and for others to whom it may be interesting. Data based on the World Bank statistics. The population growth is in percentage. Data is provided until the year 2050, but because the percentage change is pretty much similar over the presented years I extended the curve until 2099 for total population graph and show the data as per World Bank until 2050 and then the extended trend until 2099. With decreasing growth population is still growing at 2050, reaches 0% growth in 2076 and starts decreasing from this point at quite low rate that the population line is quite flat.
